Octobank has launched a novel AI video news report produced without a camera crew on location. The content was generated entirely by neural networks—from the visual inserts and the anchor’s avatar to the script, voiceover, and final edit.
The video covers the TAF!25 festival, where Octobank acted as title sponsor and presented its leading solutions in digital technologies and communications.
This is the first instance in the region of a bank producing an event report without a journalist physically present. This approach significantly reduces costs, enables the rapid publication of news content, and—above all—demonstrates the high technological maturity of the bank’s PR infrastructure.
“We’re not just testing AI in communications—we’re building a new media model in which speed, quality, and technology go hand in hand. Octobank shows how artificial intelligence becomes a full-fledged tool for reputational and informational presence,” the bank’s press service commented.
The TAF!25 AI edition is part of OCTOBANK AI-TV, the bank’s video news initiative built entirely on generative technologies. The channel publishes videos in Uzbek, Russian, and English, covering topics ranging from bank news to financial literacy tips.
Why it matters:
- The technology can become a new standard for corporate broadcasting across the CIS and the EU.
- Octobank is among the first banks worldwide to scale AI-driven news under its own brand.
- AI content can be used as a case study in media, technology, and academic circles.
The project has also received positive feedback from industry experts.
Earlier, Octobank became the first bank in Uzbekistan to introduce a multilingual format of regular video broadcasting produced without a camera crew. This step is not just a PR initiative but an investment in the bank’s long-term digital infrastructure. The new format combines the latest advances in generative AI, financial analytics, and digital marketing.
The goal of the initiative is to demonstrate the potential of AI-powered communications in banking and to create a new format of dialogue with clients and audiences that meets the demands of the digital age.
The video is available on the official Octobank AI-TV YouTube channel.
