Designed as a cross-disciplinary celebration of innovation, the exhibition blended visual art, UI/UX experimentation, and emerging technology to present AI-driven UX not merely as a technical function, but as a new artistic language. Visitors engaged with installations that highlighted machine learning in real-time personalization, AI-generated UI systems, and human-computer collaboration models, ultimately inviting audiences to question the limits of automation and imagination.
Central to the exhibition was an inquiry into the evolving identity of designers in AI-assisted workflows, addressing themes such as ethical design, transparency in algorithmic systems, and the role of empathy in predictive environments. In doing so, AI-Driven UX underscored the creative potential of AI—not just as a tool, but as an artistic co-creator shaping the future of human-centered digital experiences.
One of the most compelling highlights of the exhibition was AirChef, an AI-enhanced drone food delivery system collaboratively developed by five emerging designers: Zhiwen Qian, Xianxi Liao, Wenbo Guo, Jingyi Zhu, and Ding Li. Merging user-centered design strategies with cutting-edge drone logistics, AirChef addresses everyday challenges such as time scarcity and decision fatigue through elegant, technology-driven solutions.
Built using iterative design thinking—including persona modeling, journey mapping, and agile prototyping—AirChef integrates AI-powered route optimization, IoT-based real-time tracking, and CAD-modeled aerodynamics with carbon fiber drone construction. This seamless mobile-first product experience demonstrates how AI can enhance both operational efficiency and user interaction—redefining the possibilities of UX in the service economy.
Zhiwen Qian and his team exemplified the convergence of functional design and artistic vision, creating an intuitive app interface and backend logic that delivered not only technical performance but emotional satisfaction. From personalized meal suggestions to visualized delivery tracking, every touchpoint reflected a human-centered ethos powered by intelligent systems.
