Cannes, France – 21 May 2025 –Thai films, series, and digital content continue their global ascent,  generating trade deals worth over THB 500 million at the 2025 Marché du Film, held alongside the  Cannes Film Festival. The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of  Commerce, announced the success of its mission to lead a delegation of Thai content businesses to the prestigious Marché du Film – Cannes Film Festival 2025, held from May 13 – 21 in Cannes,  France.

The initiative, driven by close collaboration between Thailand’s public and private sectors, played a pivotal role in opening global trade doors for the country’s film, television, and related service industries. This year, the Thai Pavilion facilitated 329 business negotiations, generating trade opportunities valued at over THB 500 million – a clear indicator of the growing internationalinterest  in Thai creative content.

The outcome reflects strong participation from buyers and potential business partners across Asia,  Europe, and North America.
